$10 card activation fee for all new monthly contracts.
Monthly parking payments are due on the 1st of each month.
We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, ACH push (billpay) or ACH pull (eCheck) payments for monthly parking. Credit/debit card payments include a $5 convenience fee per parker per month. ACH pull (eCheck) payments include a $2.50 convenience fee per parker per month.
Monthly Parking Rules & Regulations
Your monthly permit allows you to park one vehicle, in a designated area, at your sole risk. Poydras Parking Company does not agree to safeguard your vehicle or assume care, custody or control of your vehicle, or its contents. Poydras Parking is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss to your vehicle or its contents. Only a license to park is granted hereby, and no bailment is created. In the event that a lawsuit is filed for any casualty to your vehicle or its contents, you agree to defend and indemnify Poydras Parking for any other type of loss including reasonable attorney fees. This is your entire contract and no Poydras Parking employee may modify or waive any of its terms.
Monthly parking fees are due on the first of every month, and subject to cancellation on the second day of the month.
The clearance inside the garage is 6’ 7”. Be advised that vehicles exceeding the height restriction are at risk for serious damage.
Due to the limitations of parking access equipment, bicycles and motorcycles are prohibited in the garage and parking them will result in ticketing and/or immobilization. For bicycles please use the bike racks located in front of the 639 Loyola Ave. building and in front of the 1301 Girod first-floor garage office.
Monthly contract cardholders have access to the garage with their parking card 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, except where altered by contract. Monthly contract parkers are required to use their access cards every time they enter and exit the garage. The card must always be used in the proper “IN-OUT” sequence. If this procedure is not followed, the parking card will not allow access . Improper use may lead to the cardholder being assessed the $100 lost ticket fee or daily rate for parking. In the event a cardholder pulls a ticket for any reason, he or she must contact the parking garage office immediately to avoid being charged for that ticket.
Please remember to scan the keycard at the entrance and exit when parking for an event. Failure to scan the keycard at one of the two exit lanes with the gate in the down position will result in the card being unable to raise the gate when entering. Call the parking garage office immediately with any problems.
As a convenience for tenants that desire to validate parking for their clients, Parking validations are available for parking seven days a week. Call the garage office for further details.
Monthly permit holders must park in designated areas.
Customer agrees to report any damage caused by the customer's vehicle. If discrepancies exist, please see the parking manager.
Customer agrees to follow the instructions of garage/lot personnel and/or posted signage.
Unauthorized vehicles parked in “RESERVED” or “HANDICAPPED” spaces without proper credentials will be towed or immobilized at the owner’s expense and risk. Refer to signs posted throughout the garage or call the garage office for further information. Unreserved spaces are located on garage levels four and above, park in any space not marked “RESERVED” or “HANDICAPPED”.
There may be a 6-month minimum for individual monthly parking contracts. Prior notice of cancellation is required. Please contact facility manager.
Please remove all valuables from view in your vehicle and lock your vehicle when you park. We do not assume any liability for lost or stolen property or damage to your vehicle.
The garage has a 5-mph speed limit. Please obey the speed limit while in the garage. Headlights should be used at all times in the garage.
Parking in a manner that occupies more than one space, or parking in areas not designated for parking will result in a warning ticket being issued and the vehicle license plate being recorded. Subsequent offenses will result in a fine, immobilization or towing. Please help us provide ample parking for all of our tenants and guests. In addition, large vehicles should be parked away from turning lanes and end spaces.
